Ed Daubeney Non-Executive Director

Ed DaubeneyEd joined Polygon as a non-executive Director in November 2011 after having worked with the team during the management buyout of Law At Work.

Ed is responsible for creating Digital Jersey, a new body initially funded by the States of Jersey to promote the Island as a centre for Digital businesses and is active in generating commercial activities in this sector. Additionally he is the Regional Investment Director for Envestors Limited and assists ‘high growth’ companies to raise early stage funding from private investors.

In addition to Polygon and Law At Work, Ed is Non-Executive Director for the Liberation Group; the largest hospitality related business in the Channel Islands. He is also Deputy Chair of JACS (the Jersey Advisory and Conciliation Service).

Born in Jersey and educated both locally and the UK, Ed’s early career was in Industrial Relations with Ford Motor Company. On returning to the Channel Islands, he was the HR Director of the Le Riche Group Limited, the largest private sector employer of the time. He successfully moved into operational management and became Managing Director of CI Hospitality, leading this business through major change and one private equity sale process prior to its ultimate acquisition by the Liberation Group in 2008. Ed holds an MBA from Ashridge Business School.
